GAP for kids!!!

Your mom may bring you to the mall and buy you some jeans, but that's not the GAP we mean!   The "GAP", the puzzle you tried, was to show us that GOD needs to be in our life, and in our heart.

Only HE can fill the GAP in your heart! Because Jesus has NO “GAPS”!

Many of us try to find our fun or meaning in life thru PEOPLE, and PLACES and THINGS, but only GOD is the One who fills our heart!!

Heb 8:10 " I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God and they shall be my people"

Jesus tells us about Himself in Colossians Chapter 1: " He is the image of the invisible God...in Him all things were created....and in Him ALL the fullness of God was pleased to dwell!" 

These other things we fill the GAP with, may be fun ... even ok or good:

TOYS

ICECREAM

FRIENDS

SPORTS

 ....but they dont help our problem of needing forgiveness for all the things we do that aren't good

LYING

CHEATING

NOT FORGIVING EACH OTHER

BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE FOR MY OWN PROBLEM

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans Chapter 3 verse 23

1 John Chapter 1, verse 8 says "If we say we have no sin, we lie to ourselves and the truth of God is not in us."

GOD FORGIVES, and fills our hearts with HIM!

1 John Chapter 1 Verse 9 says " If we confess our sins, HE IS FAITHFUL and just to forgive us our sins

and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness!"

WOW! GOD does this so we can KNOW HIM and be forgiven!  How does He do this?

Jesus has died for our sin and washes us clean from all blame because He took all the blame for us, so we can have a FULL LIFE with GOD!! Jesus tells us in John 14:6  " I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me!"

John 15:5b “Apart from me [God] you can do nothing [that counts for eternity]”

If you know you aren't perfect, then ask God to help you see HIM, to open your eyes and heart to Jesus, and know that God does forgive you! Admit you need Him, and thank Him for loving and forgiving you! Find a church near you that teaches the Bible only, with people who love God and want to live for Him. Read the Bible, God's great Word, for yourself, too! And U can visit us too! God Bless YOU!!
